I have to agree completly with you article.
Controlled aggression is the only way to survive in a REAL situation.
When you are fighting in any form of 'sport' there is always a ref to call stop but when your on your own out in the real world its very different.

If i didn't utilise Dave's teachings of controlled aggression i know for a fact i would have been injured several times.

Rezbi
as my American Colleague said to me the other day on the (Dog and Bone)what other training do you do Informed him what other training I do.First Aid, Defensive folding Knife, Defender, Kubotan,Firearms, Low Light Training, Self Defence, Rape Prevetion Classes for Women, Hostage Survival, Hostage Negotiation, and Security, Door supervisor.
The Question I ask is what training do other SDF Instructors do as maybe we can get together and share training courses among each other with daves blessing
or maybe even have a weeks seminar if it could be arranged
would this be possible
Respectfully

One thing I neglected to mention is that you need to train as you intend to fight.

If you hold back in training, chances are you'll hold back in a real fight as that's what you're conditioned to do.
